Tuna and Avocado Salad

I’ve always admired and enjoyed Ina Garten’s recipes – they’re simple yet delicious.  It’s even more appealing that they normally contain a minimum of ingredients.  Recently, I found the Barefoot Bloggers group and decided to join…I’ll be cooking and baking my way through lots of Ina’s recipes.  I hope you’ll come back and see how I fare!

The first recipe of the month is Tuna and Avocado Salad selected by Kate of Warm Olives and Cool Cocktails.  This is really a departure for me…I am not a fan of tuna and normally, I focus on baking…not cooking.  But that is part of the challenge of this group!

I am happy with the results…and yes, I did actually try it!

About this challenge: The Barefoot Bloggers join forces and cook or bake recipes by Barefoot Contessa Ina Garten each month, chosen in order by members, and present them for discussion on two Thursdays each month. Hungry? Please join us at the table!
