So, my travel photos are not of the Blarney Stone, they're not of the Cliffs of Moher or the busy streets of Dublin. While all those places are beautiful and worthy of visiting in their own right, I'll stick to home. I prefer the small town land of Derrytresk where my great grandparents ran a general store. The countryside, the surrounding fields, the River Blackwater and the lovely people I've met and grown to adore provide plenty of excitement for me. And many fond memories.
Below are some visual memories of my most recent travel to Ireland.

I hope that you will come again...

I came back for some more :) I looked at these pics the last time on my mobile device, but seeing them on the PC screen makes them look even nicer. You seem to know what you're doing while taking pics.I was wondering where Derrytresk is. You mentioned the River Blackwater. There's a river with that name in Cork too, but I was struggling to recall a Derrytresk in Cork. Now I see it's in Tyrone. It must have been so nice to spend a few days enjoying the laid back lifestyle of the Irish countryside.Looking forward to seeing more pics soon :)Liam
Derrytresk is near Coalisland & Dungannon in Tyrone...small place, but I love it there. It's really such a relaxing place, yes. Would stay there longer if I could! Just published a new post with a few Instagram photos of the area as well...
thanks again for the visit & your comments! Elizabeth
