Bargain cookbooks....

Every now and then, I like to troll Amazon and other online booksellers for bargain cookbooks to add to my collection. Or at least my Kaboodle page – then friends and family can add them to my collection. I tend to gravitate towards unique books that either focus on recipes from a particular region or use really simple recipes with few ingredients. I also like books that focus on ingredients in season and the favorite old recipes given a new twist.

I like the idea of trying my hand at some of these recipes...it would be a challenge...but a fun one. I also like the idea of just browsing through the photographs and making a list of must try patisseries the next time I'm in Paris.

At eight cents a recipe, I think buying this book is a no brainer. It's filled with simple recipes that highlight fresh ingredients. As you can see from the cover, the photography is applealing, too.

As with most bargains, quantities are limited....time for me to run over to Amazon and get my copies before you do!
